The Lullaby... *Shadow and Roxas*

Roxas smiles, sitting on her bed and a CD playing instrumentals. She smiles to the baby in her arms as she stroked his hairline. She kissed his forehead, muttering Daemien... Moi L'amour toi..." Kissing the baby's forehead again, she smiles at the baby. His red eyes had a soft look to them, and they seemed so focused on her. Roxas chuckles. She softly speaks French to the baby, and her rare eyes seemed so gentle. It would be hard to realize she locked away such a powerful Lycanic beast behind those loving eyes. Roxas' smiles and picks up a small remote. She points it at the CD player and a click sounds. The baby, Daemien, reaches for her hand and she sets the remote down, letting the baby grasp her hand. Daemien puts her fingers in his mouth and giggles at his mother. Roxas smiles and looks at the CD changer. "LK 2 soundtrack... ahh.. . Lovely choice, L'amour." She says, smiling at her son. Roxas sings softly to her son, her true voice showing out. She stands, smiling and leaning against the window. She lets the soft words come without haste as her son looked up at her, waiting for the loving voice he had heard at his birth and only heard when she was alone.

A young man silently enters and sees the CD player going.

Ah, dammit, he thinks. And I wanted to share this new song I once learned with them. Oh, well, maybe tomorrow night.

He slips into a chair without her noticing.

Roxas smiles and kisses the top of Dae's head as he falls asleep quietly. She lays him in his crib as the cd changed silently to the first LK soundtrack. She doesn't notice the young man in the room, as she was used to his constant comforting presence.
