The Final Battle *OPEN*

[The Dude]

Ash and marty stood at the edge of the area. Marty had his arms crossed and looked at the monsters before them. He smirked and ash streatched his legs.

[Haxx]

Xana’s servants were arranged into a battle line. The Kingdoms levels had been rearranged into a labyrinth, each level a maze getting worse as they near the peak. This was the only open section left, where the first wave of Xana’s faithful would make their stand. Red wireframe formed four virtualising people at the front of the battle line. For of the exact same man, dressed in black, blades on his arm and burning red glowing in his eyes. Echoing out the Lyoko warriors, a dark voice filled the air. “I am giving you about thirty seconds to devirtualise and go home.” It called, a sinister and hearty laughter echoing through the black walls. All four spoke at once.

Metal rang out as they flicked their arm-blades into locked positions, facing down the Lyoko warriors. “You have no idea how stupid this attack is do you? You could have at least tried to weaken him before coming here.” All four said at once again, their voice a perfectly timed chorus. A dark smirk formed on their lips, each one an exact duplicate of the other.

“You should have thought this through.” They said, walking forward in a line towards them. The rest of the monsters held their ground.

[The Dude]

Marty chuckled. "You have no idea who your messing with do you?" Ash smiled and got ready to run. "I'm the fastest thing alive!" Ash yelled. "And i'm the ultimate power!" They high fived. "LETS GO!" They yelled and ran at the group. Marty glowed red. "CHAOS!" Ash ran and turned into a blue blur. "SONIC!"

[Haxx]

The Lyoko warriors had yet to do anything worthy of mention, simply mindless insults and I had endured much worse in my time. Their overconfidence almost made him want to laugh, but each image of Haxx kept the same small mocking smirk.

“I know exactly who I am dealing with. Pathetic morons, nothing more. Idiots with no strategy, no strength and no intelligence.” The one furthest to the left said. All four of them brought their blades at a cross over their chests, swinging them down in a cross cut before them. “You will die like anyone else. We already dealt with your friends.” The one to the foremost right said, each one following after. “Kris.” Said one. “Xavier.” Said the next “James.” Mocked the final duplicate of Haxx.

They all said together, like a strange and emboldening chant as their foothold dug in, locking blades so they were impassable. Ready to slice the moment they came within range.

“ You are weak. You are nothing.”

[The Dude]

"Thats what you think." Marty said and curled up into a ball. He jumped over them. "BLAST!" He said and realeased the blast right above them. "MY TURN!" Ash yeeled and jumped higher than marty. "SUPER SONIC BOOM!" He yelled and went super. He charged them and attacked.

[Haxx]

The pair seemed to be seriously considering the attack, a mistake on their part I was not about to forgive. The first one of Lyoko warriors leapt into the air and let off a wave of energy. The centre two of the Haxx line lunged forward to roll with the blast, while the side two gave a jump back and rode the energy through the air. Without hesitation three turned and scissor cut their blades at the two warriors in a vicious counter attack, not seeming at all fazed by the large energy scars it had left on their equipment and the damage it had undoubtedly done to their life points.

“We win either way!” One called out during a slashing flurry at Ash. “And we will add you to our kill count!” said the other two duplicates in unison which were launching a relentless tag team flurry on Marty. All the while the minions of Xana stood and watched, waiting...

Suddenly, energy blasts flew through the air and hit the clones, knocking them away from Ash and Marty.

The figure stood in a window, looking down on the Haxx clones. Four words ring out.

"Not on my watch."

[The Dude]

"Finally you show up." Marty said and teleported. "CHAOS SPEAR!" He shot a spear and crossed his arms. Ash ran around his attacker. "YOUR TO SLOW!"

[Haxx]

Energy hailed in from a separate direction, the duplicates forced to defend themselves on two fronts for a little while. They took a few steps back, having to get their footing after deflecting or taking the hits respectively. “One more lamb to the slaughter!” One of the three called out, bringing his blades up and slashing them down in an elaborate flourish.

One took the flashily named bolt that Marty decided to throw, rolling his shoulder with the blast before looking to the Lyoko warrior with a burning red glow in his eyes. “We can’t fall!” He said, Lunging forward leaving a red trail as he brought his blade up in a vicious uppercut, feinting with the other blade before bringing his knee with all the momentum he had to Marty’s stomach.

In the same instant Shadow came under assault from a hurricane of metal, one of the Haxx’s spinning towards him in a maelstrom of sharp edges going for his neck, elbows and shins, finishing with a final cross slash to tear open the new arrival's chest.

As Ash continued to run around the last of the three attacking Haxx, He smirked viciously as his arm shot out to hit the pest straight in the neck, or if he caught the blade sever the creatures head with his own momentum.

[Mugen K. I. Kagemaru]

Shadow raised his two blades, blocking almost every blow with a bored look on his face. Minor scrapes and cuts appeared on his neck and knees, but his elbows were clean when the Haxx clone aimed a cross slash at him. As the blades came down, he vanished into thin air.

"Pathetic," his voice says. "If this is the best you can do, I just might hold back for the sake of a fair fight. I've faced foes that were stronger AND faster than you, and they weren't any more successful in defeating me."

He reappears behind Haxx.

He swings his blades effortlessly, faster than Ash had ever run in his life.

[The Dude]

Marty teleported and rubbed his stomach. "Hmph looks like this ones going to be fun." He smirked and ash ran up next to him. "Next level of fun?" Ash said and smiled. Marty nodded. "Do it." Ash clenched his fists and sent the both super. "Shall we be going?" Marty said with a smile. "BLAST AWAY!" Ash yelled and toke off in a yellow flash. Both him and marty darted around. "Check out my speed now." He taunted and stopped. "SUPER SONIC BOOM!" He yelled and attack with a furry of kicks and punches.

[Haxx]

With a burning glance over it’s shoulder the Haxx watched Shadow’s form appear behind him, to which it’s reply was simple. “Your fighting to win, I am simply making sure you lose.” He said with a smirk swinging to parry the blades which moved at blistering pace. What was surprising is it managed to parry most of them, but the damage was done. “One falls!” He shouted, dissappearing in a screaming red devirtualisation.

“And one more will rise from the ashes!” Called another, jumping out from behind the blocks, A dark cackle echoing through the zone as this other Haxx charged into another bladed flurry at Shadow. “Xana has made me invincible! I will reappear every time I fall!” He calls, not waiting for the realisation to sink in. The blades flew not to seriously harm, that was clear now. Cuts, grazes, any lifepoints that might trickle off. He could fight all day, Shadow could not.

The flat of the blade rung out as one of the Haxx’s parried Ash’s flurry, hands clenching the foot which flew mid air before his own left the floor, fully extending in a martial arts kick straight towards their chest. “Calm down Sonic” He mocked, the insult on several more levels then could be comprehended in that tiny moment. Trying to keep hold of the one foot he held he swung Ash with a huge force to send him flying into Marty.

Marty meanwhile was caught in a vicious game of cat and mouse, while he darted quickly the other Haxx was right on his tail. He had several prime attack opportunities but did not take them, a small smirk slowly growing over his features. “You really aren’t that bright.” The Haxx said, his blades swinging in a strong brutal slash in tandem with the other duplicate. It forced them to fight on two fronts:

Be hit by the human projectile, or slashed open.

A dark smirk breaks across his face.

"Unless we gut the main body," he says in response to Haxx's statement about his regeneration, while blocking almost every attack, suffering minor wounds, but nothing that caused life point loss.

(OOC: Haxx, you really don't know Shadow at all, do you? Plus, you GMed at least twice if not three times in that post alone.)

[The Dude]

Ash smiled and spun in a ball. He hit the ground and went up a rock. He stoped at the top and waved a finger tuting. Marty smirked and disappeared. He reappeared higher in the air. "Your going straigh to hell." He said and shot spear after spear at the haxx's.

[Haxx]

Taking his blades into his chest one of the Haxx spun away, the spear of energy clipping his arm as he came to a halt, several others came close but did not manage to hit the spinning assailant. The blades sung as they sliced the air to reach his sides. “Hell is too scared to take me.” The Haxx responded with a vicious tone, launching himself in the air to meet his aggressor head on. His blades came up in two vicious upper cuts, actually rising above them and flipping midair to drive his feet to the Hedgehog’s skull.

Meanwhile the Haxx which had been causing Ash so much trouble just smirked as he took leaps and bounds off nearby surfaces to reach them, bringing his blades in a scissor cut as he did. The third just stood and watched, looking to shadow with a sinister smirk.

“Xana still has towers active, as if we needed the help. Even without us here, how do you expect to get past his minions?” He said, sounding so sure of himself, so right in his own mind. The huge legion of minions that had been present from the beginning still stood between the Lyoko warriors and the labyrinth setup of Xana’s Kingdom, and they were still on the first floor.

“Besides, what makes you think he is even home?” His smirk was dastardly, taking the smallest step forward as another energy bolt hit behind his heels.

Shadow smirks.

"If he isn't, we'll wait for him to come back," he says. "This is where the last battle between us and him will be fought. If he returns, or is here, you will not interfere. After all, would it not be more satisfying for him if he fought us himself instead of hiding behind losers like you? We have never gauged our strength against him, nor has he against us."

[The Dude]

"Because if we don't WHO WILL!?!" Ash yelled and spun in a ball and orbs of light began to gather on him. "Now your in trouble." Marty said with a smirk and crossed his arms as he teleported away.

[Haxx]

Ash provided himself as a too easy a target with his small stunt. With the hedgehog curled into a ball it was a simple matter to interrupt whatever trick they might have been trying to pull, weaving between the orbs of light to toe-punt the creature like a football in Shadow’s general direction.

His partner simply teleported away with one Haxx in pursuit, bladed flurry not letting up an inch, undoubtedly having dealt large amounts of damage through his assaults already.


“The last battle for you perhaps. Xana cannot be defeated like that. You are assuming in your arrogance Xana actually has a weak spot to attack somewhere in this sector.” The Haxx which was debating with Shadow continued, a harsh chuckle passing his lips. He began walking forward, slow steps that built in pace and speed as his words continued on, slipping free of his lips in a dark sentiment. “Xana is not hiding, he is fighting. We are his living weapons, and we will interfere as much as we please.” He stated, lunging forward to uppercut Shadow in a swift blow. Almost moments after his blade would have left the cut through his polygons, the Haxx brought his elbow down in a brutal thrust towards Shadow’s face.

In the same moment, the Haxx which had been untiring in his slashes on Marty reached with an outstretched hand to grip them by the throat. His gaze burnt with the symbol of Xana while he looked into the Lyoko warrior’s eyes, a small smirk of sadistic pleasure crossing the servant of Xana’s lips at the carnage he was unleashing.

The one which had dealt with Ash began closing the gap between their duel and Shadow’s new swirling melee, calling out to the other pair.

“I have not even broken a sweat yet. This is only the beginning.”

[Glitch (Thunder)]

A line of three sharp blue feathers indented themselves in the ground, slicing through like paper while announcing her arrival; three more daggers were aimed for the Bloks that were the first line of defence for the Kingdom. From left to right: The first hit, shattering the Blok into shards of virtual material; the second scraping the side of the Blok it aimed for, taking a few of its Lifepoints with it; the third missed due to the Blok being a little less block-headed than the others and spinning, deflecting the shot clumsily in the direction of one of the Haxx spectres.

Naturally, the blue feathers belonged to none other than Miyako Sirren. Better known as Thunder of Lyoko she took the form of a blue anthropomorphic bird; She was hard to miss on the plain backdrop if Xana’s Kingdom. The only thing brighter than her feathers was her purple coat and material tied around her neck. Shifting her weight onto her back foot she ran a hand over her beak. She glanced to Haxx with her serious, sapphire eyes.

A smirk across her beak as she looked to the Lyoko warriors by her side, “Sorry I’m late for the party. Looks like I turned up in time though.” Slipping her left hand under her jacket for more ammunition as she spoke, slowly her right followed and with one smooth, swift motion all six sharp feathers that were weaved in between her fingers cut deep into the air in the direction of Xana’s army. Though they were not particularly well aimed there were such a number of enemies probability said a few had to hit something. Looking quickly to Ash, Marty then Shadow; she nodded calling to them.

”Everybody strike. Now!”

Shadow growled as he swerved in and out to evade Haxx's attacks. Thunder clearly lacked the sight to see that she should have dealt with the Haxx clones rather than attack the monsters that were waiting for Haxx to fall so that they could take their turn against the enemy. He leaps back, away from the Haxx clone that was fighting him.

"Living weapons you may be, but you are still not Xana himself," he says. "If he has the time to send you out to fight his battles, then he has time to face us himself in person. True power is gained by testing oneself, not those one controls."

His blades disappear, as a ring flies off his left ring finger. He aims his left arm at Haxx, as if it were a gun. The ring hovers in front of his fist, and then shoots out many tendrils of energy along its circumference, twisting as it arcs outward and passes into Shadow's arm just short of the elbow.

Two words are uttered.

"Data Drain."

A tendril shoots out, aiming straight for Haxx.
