A girl with short black hair stood at the gate listening to her iPod. It was the dead of night and she wouldn't be walking onto campus officially until morning but she couldn't wait that long. The girl signed and leaned forward onto the closed gates, I'd be pushing it if I climbed inside...
She leaned out looking up, I could make that. She walked backwards, ran forward and jumped as high as she could, holding onto the bars. She climbed the rest of the way up and landed on the school grounds below. She looked around carefully and ran forward into the darkness that was the undiscovered school grounds.
note: This thread takes place after the "Times Changed" thread ends (it hasn't ended yet but I can't just join in that late in the thread and I'm not that patient).

Marty sat ontop of the school a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. He had fresh bandages over his shoulder and down the right side of his stomach. He looked down when he saw movement and arched an eyebrow. Who?[/color] He thought and watched her run.

The girl ran with her arms open wide, dreaming she was flying. All she wanted was to be free, to be home. Not this strange country. The girl stopped at the water fountain and stared at her reflection, I should head back. It'd be hard to explain if someone caught me.

The girl turned around surprised, unable to find words. She stared at the half dark figure that stood before her. He seemed like someone you wouldn't want to meet in a dark ally, but at the same time she felt like she knew him...like she could trust him.
"I'm a new student, I was bored and thought I'd take a sneak peak before it got light out," she said nerously.

She eased her nerves, "Didn't realise I was reacting that weirdly. I guess it's that I ran into a mysterious person in the middle of the night while doing something I'm not suppost to. My name is Kiku by the way, Kiku Magee. It's a little odd but you get use to it."
She stood there looking around incase Marty had any friends. She didn't wanna jump out of her skin again. It wasn't much fun the first time around.

Marty uncrossed his arms. "You can go if you want i just was out for a smoke when you darted across the yard." He waved his hand and groaned at the pain that shot through him. He grabbed his shoulder and reached into his pocket. He toke out a bottle of vikadin and toke one.

Kiku stared at his shoulder, "Are you okay?"
She took a few steps closer, allowing light to shine on his once hidden face. She stared in awe at the face of the most attractive guy she had ever met. She quickly returned her gaze to his injury and reached out to touch him, "It sounds like it hurts a lot..."
Note: this was edited on an iPad2 at the Verizon store.

Kiku forced herself closer to him, touching his shoulder with her other hand while he was distracted. "Getting mad at me will do you no good," she said carefully touching to see how tender it was.
She looked up into his eyes. She couldn't explain why her eyes couldn't look away, no it wasn't that they couldn't...it was that they wouldn't. His outward appearence screamed a bad boy, and perhaps he was, but his eyes said so much more. They told a story. This Marty kid wasn't someone to fear, but someone to be loved. Though it is impossible to know what level of a relationship she'd be able to reach. No matter how hard she trys, if he doesn't let her be a friend and allow her to see who he is, nothing would be accomplished.

Marty looked back into her eyes. He couldn't look away he kept looking. The next thing he knew he was pulling her closer to him with the hand He held onto.

As he pulled her forward she felt more than her knees cave and her heart fall. All of a sudden she noticed the world around her, What am I doing!?
Kiku pulled away and landed on the ground. She stared up at Marty confused and torn about what had just happened. She hoped to her feet and ran back to the front gates without another word said.

Marty stared at her. He watched her run away and punched a tree and then grabbed his shoulder. "Dammit. Why am i like this? Why did i do that?" He groaned and toke out another pill and downed it. He stood up and slowly walked back to the dorms and looked back.

The next morning Kiku was standing in her dorm room unpacking some of her things before morning class. She looked out the window to see the fountain where she met Marty, the then mysterious guy. She couldn't quite explain what happened that night and found herself glad that she wasn't going to have to. Atleast not anytime soon. She let out a sigh, I doubt the two of us will run into each other anytime soon.

Marty threw a book onto Ash's lap as he sat in a bed without his right arm. Ash didn't move. Marty crossed his arms. "Brought you your book. Doc says you'll be able to leave tomorrow. Ash didn't move or respond. Marty sighed. "I'm sorry your arms gone. But the doctor says if we can get it back it can be put back into place." He turned and watched a nurse walk in with a tray of food. She set it down on top of Ash's book and he smacked the tray away putting food on the wall. "I don't want your damn food." He looked up at marty tears in his eyes. "When i get to Xana i'm gonna rip off all his limbs and i'm going to do it slowly." He said and his eyes changed from green to yellow.

Kiku put away the last of her clothes and looked up at the clock, she had 30 minutes until her first class. She touched her forehead, Ow....my head hurts. I should go get some pain relievers from the nurse.
When Kiku walked into the nurses office she over heard a few nurses talking about a boy who had lost his arm while off grounds. Sounded like a cover up story to her but she minded her own buisness. She asked for some pills and headed towards the fountain to clear her head.

Marty walked through the gate and ran a hand through his hair and sighed. He sat down on the fountain and put his head into his hands. He stared at the ground and put his knuckles under his head.

Kiku walked up to the fountain and saw Marty. She jumped a few inches and hid behind a tree, "Why does he have to be HERE!?"
She took a breath, composing herself before walking out and sitting a few feet to the right of Marty looking in the other direction, He won't effect where I deside to spend my time...

Marty sighed. "You dont have to be so shocked to find me here." Marty said and stood up. He jammed his hands into his jacket pockets and turned to look at her. "I know you heard about the kid who got his arm ripped off. He's getting an augmented arm tonight so he'll be back tomorrow." Marty said coldly and walked in front of her.
