The wolf panted as she hid in a small thicket, listening to Ash's calls. She shook her head, closing her eyes as she held herself. She couldn't be a coward. Not now. But those tears still fell, hot and heavy on her gentle skin. She was silent, watching the fire overtake the factory from her tiny hideout.
"Damn you, XANA. Even in death you scare me more than Xavier ever did," she whispered, trembling slightly. She heard ash grow closer, but didn't move to hide more. She just watched the flames, those eyes letting her emotions and tears flood out.

Ash walked around and stopped when he saw Roxas. He sat down next to her ad wrapped is arm around her. "It's ok he's gone now forever." He said and rubbed her arm.

Roxas sighed, nodding as she curled into her lover's hold. She hated XANA, and she hated the fact that he' been alive still. He could have easily killed them just a few minutes ago. The idea terrified the stoic and quiet warrior.

Ash kept her close until the fire died out. The factory was reduced to ash. He rubbed her back and kept watching the rubble.

Roxas glanced toward the ashen factory's remnants, then gently pulled away from Ash to stand. She watched the area, then shook her head. "Gods, what in the hell did we get into as kids?" she asked quietly.

"Nothing we couldn't finish." Ash said and stood up. "The kids should be getting up soon. Shall we?" He said and offered her his arm.

"I don't believe he's dead, Ash. I won't ever believe that." She looked at his arm, then raised a brow. "I'm no damsel, Ashie-boy." She smiled slightly, then brushed past him to walk toward the exit of the forest.
"Thanks... for not getting mad. I can't help but run when I get upset like that."

Roxas looked over at Ash, her eyes soft from her earlier tears. "I know, I just... I hate when I get like that. I can't even think straight when I do." She sighed. "Thank you, still. At least you know what to expect of me. Sometimes."

Ash smiled and wrapped his arms around her.
Marty watched the fires die and flicked his cigarette away. The rubble moved and he looked back. "Hm?" He watched it then started walking away. The rubble moved again and XANA pulled himself out. "I'm....Not done.....YET!" He stared at Marty. Marty pulled on his gloves. "Ready for round two?" He asked and smiled.
