Ash was and still is a hyperactive kid. Easy to make friends with there was one kid at their grade school he wanted to make friends with more than anyone else. Zack. After months of annoying the poor boy he ended up making friends and even becoming like brothers. While Zack was a straight A student Ash struggled not seeing a point in school work rather wanting to have fun with his friend. But Zack was about to be taken away with a scholarship to the Prestigious Kadic academy. After a brief letter and a recommendation from Zack Ash got a scholarship on the promise he keeps good grades. Promising to put himself in front of the books to study and be with his friend he kept true to his word as they began their first day at Kadic. Evenutally they came across Lyoko and the evil virus inside of it Aelita. After a year long battle they were victorious able to shut down the super computer and return to their normal lives.
Ash hated the normal life. He missed the excitement of fighting an enemy that seemed superhuman. But then one day while cleaning the dorm room he shared with Zack he saw the message on the screen and wanted to check it out. Zack kept saying no figuring it was Aelita trying to revive itself but Ash would keep saying otherwise. Finally after a week of begging and whinning Zack gave in and they checked out the factory. Finding the super computer on they knew what they had to do. Gather a new team and fight this new threat.

Ash swung his chainsaw hand slicing the leg off Tarantula before finishing it off with a shotgun blast to the head. Breaking the chamber of his gun he popped out to two slugs reloading with a quick spin reattaching the barrel. "Zack!" He called out as they tried to fight off the forces of Aelita. "We're getting overwhelmed!" He fired once more into an advancing crabs but they didn't flinch. Ash charged then but stopped as a large scream made everyone freeze in their tracks. On top of the tower Zack had skewered Aelita and was in the process of pulling his giant sword through her body.
"Wake up idiot." Zack slapped his friend waking him up. Ash looked around their room as he sat up. "If you're late again you're getting detention remember?" Zack told him before leaving to get breakfast. He'd been having that Dream more frequently now. Their last time in Lyoko now seemed like nothing but a distant memory. Getting dressed he was about to leave when a symbol appeared on Zacks computer making his jaw drop. "We can be heroes again..."
