It was a normal day for Liam McAdam at the Umbrella Coporation. He was dealing with two researchers, who were bothering him to no end about things he already knew. Sure, he was to run the corporation when he came of age, yet what was the point in waiting if he was just going to learn the same things over and over? Finally interuppting them, he sighed. "Ok, how about you two just take a coffee break, ok? You two seem tired, as you keep repeating the same crap over and over." he stated, which the two researchers agreed to.
As the man in black walked to get some coffee himself, a woman in red walked up to him. "Mr. McAdam." the woman spoke to Liam. Turning around, Liam saw Katsumi and sighed. "Katsumi, we've been through this, you do not need to call me that." he responded as he handed Katsumi a cup of coffee. The two were approximately the same age, so there was no need for such formal attitude between partners. "Well, you have a point there Liam. But I need to get used to it anyway since you only have a few more years before you run this company." the woman spoke as she drank some of her coffee.
"To be honest, I can wait.." he commented as he took a sip of his coffee. Katsumi looked at Liam, somewhat puzzled. "Why is that?" she asked, somewhat curious. "Well...it's kinda like a cup of coffee. Although you are able to enjoy it, it is isolated within one vessel until transfered to another, then sent to finish it's job." he stated and sighed. "I just wish that I had some time to be able to see the world outside Umbrella." he added, only to feel Katsumi's hand on his shoulder. "You know...I think I know a way for you to learn something about outside this corporation...something you will definately need me with you to accomplish.." she said, in an almost suggestive tone, running her hand gently down Liam's arm, smiling at him as her face developed a light shade of pink.
Liam felt nervous at her gestures, but trusted Katsumi enough. "Would you help me?" he asked, assuming she was talking about escaping from the corporation for a bit. He just wanted some time to enjoy life before he was locked into his future job. "Of course I will..Just follow me." she said, winking. Before the two could walk three steps, an older man walked to the two. 'Excuse me, but I need to speak with Liam about some important matters.' the man said before he escorted Liam to a room. 'We have noticed how stressed you seem about learning within here, and we figured it may help for you to learn at a different location.' the man said, going straight to the point.
"And where, pre-tell, would this be accomplished?" Liam questioned him. Being handed a list of schools he could go to, Liam knew he had a choice in this matter. As he looked through the list, he came across one that appealed to him. "Kadic Academy...I guess that's the one." Liam decided, handing the list back to the man. 'I'll make the arrangements. Be prepared for a flight to france.' the man explained to Liam and walked off. As Liam left the room, Katsumi walked up to him. "What was that about?" she asked him. Sighing, Liam smiled. "I'm going to be leaving soon... the remainder of my education will be in France." Liam replied. Katsumi smiled, but had been saddened as well. "I need to get ready...who knows when I need to leave, so it is better to be prepared early." Liam stated before waving and leaving for his office/room.
