A black figure moved swiftly through the ruins of the factory. I lunged forward, grabbing the cables for the elevator and disappeared down into the darkness of the elevator shaft. There was the noisy clank of metal as the access panel of the elevator burst open, my shadowed silhouette quickly descending into the elevator and out into the computer room. I pulled something free of my pocket, slamming it into the computers mainframe access port. It took just a moment before the light on the side of the item flickered to life, and a vicious smirk formed across my features. The LSD display on the device lit up with the message ‘Download complete’.
My hand dived into my pocket concealing the device again, moving with a strong stride back to the elevator. My eyes glared red with Xana’s symbol, I looked back to the supercomputer and I just had to say something. It seemed fitting. “They will never suspect that.” I said with a dark chuckle, turning around to face where I was going.
In a moment I had lunged back on top of the elevator, scaling up the shaft and lunging wall to wall at times until I scuttled back onto the factory floor. I sprinted out the main door, unable to stop a dark laugh echoing through the cavernous space as I left…
