- The first cases of the infection turn up in an operation room. A middle aged male was brought in with a large bite mark on his arm. The male later dies from his injuries, his corpse re - animating within five hours of being prenounced dead.
5 June 2009
- City wide outbreak occurs. Police Forces rally together to repel the zombies and retake parts of the city.
- Military begins to quarantine surrounding areas, prevent escape from Crescent City
June 6 2009
- Police Forces fall in to shambles, all order is lost. Survivors scramble to escape the city, others bunker down until the government arrives.
June 20 2009
- East Coast is attacked by several tankers loaded with the infection. The tankers crash in to key harbors, causing a mass outbreak
June 22 2009
- Mass Outbreak occurs in Mid - West, quarantines fail
June 23 2009
- The West Coast falls due to several terrorist attacks, an airport in LA becomes over run with the undead, police gain control of the situation. Second outbreak occurs when a mall comes under attack by a group of unded assaliants. Third and final outbreak occurs when a cargo plane lands on a local air strip, cargo containers full of infected are unloaded and then unleashed. Half of LA falls within hours, rest is quarantined.
June 25 2009
- The United States has fallen out. The US Government goes under ground and struggles to regain control.
2 December 2009
- The virus spreads, turning the West Coast and the Mid - Western regions in to extreme danger zones. Rescue is far from a reality.
5 December 2009
- US Military abandons hope of re - claiming the red zones and instead secures a few cities, setting up defensive perimeters and using them as havens for refugees.
22 December 2009
- President Casey and Head of the DoD initiate Operation Iron Fist in attempt to re - claim the East Coast. Full military strength has been geared toward the operation, causing ammunition, fuel, and weapon prices to sky rocket.
- February 2, 2010
PharmTech Inc establishes a panel of international pharmaceutical companies to combat against the virus. Pharmaceutical-Technology Incorporated consists of the best and brightest doctors from around the world. They work twenty four / seven to find a way to eradicate the Virus responsible for the Outbreak. This company has become the terrorist cell's worst nightmare.

- The Red Zone Wars have escalate. Bands of survivors fight for control. Foreign and domestic mercenaries, arms dealers, and criminal organizations cash in on the wars.

The US Armed Forces has deployed small teams to help defend settlements within the Red Zones. The majority of the forces have pulled back to 'The Thirteen Colonies.' A large defensive wall has been built on the borders of the Colonies to keep out unwanted hostiles. To gain entry in to the Colonies one must go through a lengthy medical screening.
